About Tangled Sweden
Tangled Sweden is a Swedish hair extension brand, founded in Stockholm in 2021 by a trained hairdresser. We make hair extension scrunchies, ponytail extensions and tape-in extensions in genuinely great quality – at a price that feels fair, and so easy you can do it yourself at home.
Why we started Tangled
My name is Nicole and I worked as a hairdresser for seven years – I trained at a hairdressing college in Sweden and worked at the salon Klippdesign. In the salon I saw the same two problems again and again.
The first was the quality of hair extensions. If you bought tape-in extensions, you had to choose between "original", which was often poor, and "premium", which cost a fortune. There was no good middle ground. We wanted to offer hair extensions that look natural and last – without costing the earth.
The second was how hard it is to do your hair yourself at home, especially if you have fine or thin hair. So we created simple styles that need no experience: a hair extension scrunchie you slip on like a hair tie and a ponytail extension you simply clip in. Done in under a minute.
In 2021 we launched Tangled Sweden. Today we no longer work in a salon – we put all our knowledge into developing the products and helping you find the right one.
Hairdressers behind every product
Every product is developed and tested by trained hairdressers. We choose the texture, length and shades so the extensions blend into your own hair, and we test everything ourselves before it reaches the store. Susann has worked as a hairdresser for more than 30 years, ever since she left school. Today she tests the products, creates our styling videos and helps out with most things in the team. Together we have over 40 years of experience with hair.

What we make
- Hair extension scrunchies – Tangled Scrunchie, Straight Scrunchie, Luxe Length and Wildbun. Vegan synthetic fibre, 8–16 cm of hair, slips on like a hair tie.
- Ponytail extensions – Tangled Ponyo (35 cm, curly) and Mini Ponyo (21 cm), with a clip.
- Tape-in extensions – 100% Remy human hair, 50 cm, 20 pre-taped pieces per pack.
- Shampoo bar & conditioner bar – shampoo and conditioner in solid form, without harsh sulfates and silicones, up to 80 washes.
